🧡 Wear Orange Wednesday (WOW Day) 🧡

Today we celebrate and thank the incredible VICSES volunteers who dedicate their time to helping communities right across Victoria.

From storms and floods to rescues and road crash incidents, SES volunteers are there when people need help most — day or night, rain or shine.

At Kerang SES, our members proudly volunteer their time to support and protect our local community, and today is a chance to recognise the commitment, training, and sacrifices our volunteers make every single year.

Whether you wear orange today, give a wave to a volunteer, or simply say thank you, your support means a lot to our members.

And to our Kerang and wider community, thank you for your ongoing support of our local unit. It truly means the world to our members.
Head down to Victoria Street in between 10am-1pm to have a chat with a few Kerang SES members and grab a free sausage in bread on us to say thank you 🧡

Wear orange, snap a pic 📸 and share it to show your support! or inbox our page🧡🚨

Interested in making a difference in your community?
Why not consider joining VICSES and becoming part of the orange family.

Widespread thunderstorms are forecast across Victoria throughout Tuesday, 24 February, including the chance of localised, severe thunderstorms developing with the capacity to cause flash flooding in some areas.
Now is the time to prepare your property for a significant rainfall event by clearing gutters, downpipes and drains and parking vehicles undercover or away from trees where possible.
Community members should also remain alert to dangerous road conditions if driving and remember to never drive through floodwater. Stay inside if conditions outside appear dangerous.
To learn more about how to prepare for potential flooding, visit www.ses.vic.gov.au/plan-and-stay-safe/emergencies/flood.

For SES emergency assistance, call 132 500.
