What an incredible Youth Week across Kiama and Wollongong! From start to finish, the energy, creativity and connection shown by our young people was something truly special.
 
The Youth Tour was an absolute hit and such an amazing addition to Kiama Youth Fest this year, bringing even more opportunities for young people to get involved, express themselves and be part of something bigger.
 
A huge thank you to our community for showing up, supporting, and celebrating the future humans of our region. Your encouragement and presence make all the difference. 💛
 
Here’s to continuing to uplift, empower and create spaces where young people can dare, dream, and do.

We are back OPEN for Term 2!

We hope our young people and families have had a chance to rest and recharge over the break.

As the term begins with Teacher Only Days, our Youth Centre will be OPEN for our young people in grades 7 to 12 who are looking for a place to hang out, connect, or ease back into routine.

📅 Monday 20th April & Tuesday 21st April
🕥 10:30 am to 5:30 pm

Drop in anytime, for however long you would like, for a safe, inclusive and supportive space - whether you want to hang out with friends, get creative, let out some energy, or just chill with our youth worker team. You are always welcome here 💛

What a day! 🎉

Kiama Youth Fest 2026 was something really special. From the live music and creative stalls to the smiling faces across the park, it was amazing to see our community come together to celebrate young people.

A huge thank you to every young person who showed up, performed, created, connected and made the day what it was, this event is for you and because of you.

To our incredible stallholders, performers, volunteers and staff, we couldn’t have done it without your energy, passion and support.

And a big thank you to Youth Week NSW for their funding and ongoing support in making events like this possible.

We’re so proud of what was created together 💛

Wrapping up our Autumn Holiday Program on a high! ☕👏

A big shoutout to our young baristas in the making for joining the SENTRAL Youth Service team during two awesome “Intro to Barista” workshops.

Thanks to everyone who got involved over the past two weeks and made it such a great experience. 💛

Don’t forget - Kiama Youth Fest is on this Thursday 16th April from 10am to 3pm at Hindmarsh Park, Kiama! Come along and join the fun, you won’t want to miss it!
