What a fantastic week at Killara Public School

This week, our P&C proudly ran our Seek & Solve Fundraiser, and what a wonderful success it was.

Students enjoyed a fun-filled combination of exercise, adventure, teamwork, and problem-solving, all while completing maths challenges aligned to what they are learning in their classrooms.

It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces, enthusiastic learners, and children challenging themselves while having fun. The event perfectly combined learning and movement, showing that maths can be engaging, active, and exciting.

A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers, teachers, staff, families, and supporters who made this event possible. Your time, energy, and generosity helped create a memorable experience for our students and support future school improvements.

Well done, Killara! We are so proud of our amazing school community. 💙

📚➕ Parents, don’t forget, this Thursday is our SEEK & SOLVE event at Killara Public School

Our students have been polishing up their maths skills and are SO excited for this fun and engaging fundraiser.

Every donation helps support improvements around our school, and we are incredibly grateful for the support from our wonderful community.

What a fantastic week for music at Killara Public School.

Our Senior Band proudly participated in the Combined Schools Band at Killara High School on Monday evening, and it was wonderful to also see our Junior Band continuing to grow with confidence and enthusiasm.

A huge thank you to Mrs Lewis and Musiclinks for all your hard work, encouragement, and dedication in supporting our children as they learn, grow, and develop their love of music.

We can’t wait to see both bands perform at assembly soon.

At Killara Public School we take great pride in our school uniform and love seeing our students looking smart and ready to learn.

Please pop by our Uniform Shop, open every Tuesday and Thursday morning. We have some beautiful second-hand uniform items available, helping support both our families and our school community.

We kindly ask that donations are in good condition only so we can continue offering quality items to everyone.

At Killara Public School, our children absolutely love the outdoors

Just look at what our amazing Garden Club has been up to! From planting and caring for our gardens to creating beautiful green spaces for everyone to enjoy, it’s wonderful to see our students learning, growing, and connecting with nature.

We are so excited for the future transformation of this area, with several grant applications underway and the incredible support of our school community helping us continue to improve and grow this special space together.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in helping make Killara such a beautiful and welcoming environment for our children.

Here at Killara Public School, weekly music lessons are a wonderful way for students to learn a new instrument, build confidence, and discover a love for music.

Every student has the opportunity to get involved, with programs including band, choir, and strings giving children the chance to explore different instruments and enjoy performing together as a team.

Music brings creativity, friendship, and fun into our school community, and we love seeing our students shine.

Next week our Band is performing at Killara High School.
