We are incredibly grateful and thankful for our wonderful teaching staff and everything you do for our students, especially all those extra little things that often go unseen but make such a difference every single day.

This week is about YOU taking a moment to slow down, connect, smile and look after your own wellbeing too.

What an incredible day at Killara Public School's very first Open Day...

What a privilege it is to be part of such a welcoming, supportive, and vibrant school community. As Education Week begins, we couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate everything that makes Killara Public School so special.

A heartfelt thank you to one of our generous sponsors, Red Star Painting, for supporting our sausage sizzle and helping us raise valuable funds to make this fantastic community event possible.

What was Kindy like for you?

Do you remember your very first day of school? Were you excited to make new friends, a little nervous about saying goodbye, or simply eager to learn something new?

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming some of our future Kindergarten 2027 students and their families to Killara Public School for our stay and play. It was wonderful seeing their excitement.

One of the highlights of the day was hearing from our amazing Year 5 students, who shared what they remember most about starting school and their favourite memories at Killara Public School so far. Their stories of friendship, learning, fun, and growing in confidence were inspiring for our newest students and their families.

Every child starts their school journey with a mix of emotions, but at Killara Public School, they become part of a caring community where they are supported every step of the way.
