Can you help?

Volunteers are still required for this huge event - if you can spare an hour or two please consider signing up. There is desperate need for:
- Peewee track monitors (enjoy the sunshine while you view the littlest riders in the show ring. All riders have adult supervision also)
-Gate monitors (see parts of the ride normally reserved only for riders and watch the action happen! Own vehicle needed)

Come along for a lovely morning out and browse a wonderful variety of stalls at the Killarney Markets.

Enjoy a delicious sausage sizzle, fresh scones, sandwiches, tea and coffee while exploring everything the markets have to offer.

K-Life and Healthy Lifestyles Australia are hosting a FREE dementia awareness and prevention session with Dietitian Caitlin.

Caitlin will explain what dementia is and discuss practical strategies that may help reduce your risk. This informative and welcoming session is open to everyone, and morning tea will be provided.

Killarney Recreation Club

Our club and the Killarney community are mourning the loss of our dear friend, Leanne Grayson.
Our thoughts are with Andrew, the Grayson family and the Franklin family during this incredibly difficult time. We know that many of Andrew's closest family and friends are in Canada to support him as they say goodbye.
For anyone who would like to join us, we will be screening the live stream of Leanne's service at KRec. The service begins at 6:00am tomorrow morning, and everyone is welcome to come together to honour her life and support one another.
Leanne was truly a force. She touched the lives of so many people, she shaped our club and she will be deeply missed.

McCaw Funeral Service Ltd.
Janet "Leanne" Grayson of "Glenwarren" Killarney, QLD and Wolflake PGR, Lacory, AB, passed away at University of Alberta Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta, on August 8, 2026, at the age of 57 years.
Leanne is survived by: her loving husband of 36 years, Andrew; her chosen son, Tyler; parents, Terry and Sonia Franklin; brothers, Sheldon (Sandra), Brendan and Arden (Yvette); mother-in-law, Glenda; brother-in-law, Cameron (Lisa); sister-in-law, Jeneene (Gary); and numerous nieces and nephews, both related and adopted.
Leanne was predeceased by: her father-in-law, Ross.
The Funeral Service for Leanne will be conducted from Alliance Church, Marwayne, Alberta, on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 2:00 pm. Everyone is invited to stay and join the family for lunch following the service. If you are unable to attend in person, you may view the live streaming of the service posted on McCaw Funeral Service website under Leanne's obituary.
Donations in memory of Leanne may be made to STARS.
