Fire Safety Training tonight.

Wondai, Proston & Kingaroy Groups learned what different extinguishers are used on what fires.
We built a fire, and roasted marshmallows whilst discussing how to extinguish a fire, and how much heat remains even after we think it was out.

Kingaroy SES and the South Burnett Community are forever grateful to the South Burnett Council for organising the day and to everyone that came out to help fill sandbags for people in need. Approx 500 sandbags filled and delivered, over 12 cubic metres of sand delivered at short notice by Garden Grove Landscape Supplies. Our amazing volunteers were fed thanks to Damien Martoo who supplied the Sausages for the BBQ. Many, many Thanks to you all.
