🏅They both came first at South Burnett Cross Country and represented us with pride and grit at Wide Bay, both achieving commendable results.

✨️Kingaroy State School was thrilled to welcome award-winning Australian author Kat Apel for a day of engaging workshops and inspiring storytelling.

Our students were captivated as Kat shared her journey as a writer, offered a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process, and encouraged students to find confidence in their own voices and ideas.

Kat's enthusiasm, creativity, and passion for literacy left a lasting impression on our young learners, inspiring many budding authors to pick up a pencil and start creating their own stories and poems.

A huge thank you to Kat for spending time with our students and helping nurture a love of reading, writing, and creativity at KSS. We can't wait to see where our students' writing journeys take them next! 🌟📖✏️
