'Starside' by Alex Aster

If you're a fan of romantasy but you are looking for something a little different than the last romantasy book you've read, 'Starside' by Alex Aster is a great choice! Packed with enemies-to-lovers romance, simmering tension, survival challenges, and high-stakes tests, this book quickly became one of my favourite reads of 2026.

The story follows a strong and determined female protagonist who is willing to risk everything to reach Starside and have her revenge. Her resilience, courage, and determination made her impossible not to root for.

If you're looking for a fantasy filled with adventure, tension, different magic systems, unforgettable characters and a jaw dropping ending, I can't recommend Starside highly enough.

Remembering Dolly 🫶

Today we remember Dolly Parton, a woman who used her extraordinary platform to help children discover the joy of reading.

In 1995, Dolly founded the Imagination Library, inspired by her father’s inability to read. What began as a local program grew into a global movement, gifting more than 300 million books to children.

Her legacy reminds us of the importance of talking, reading, singing and playing every day. Thank you, Dolly, for helping children around the world fall in love with reading.
