Amen! Loanne is one of the most attentive delegates in this yearโs conference. ๐๐๐ฝ
After 15 years as a teacher and 3 years in family ministries, Loanne Liligeto was asked to take over the Solomon Islands Missionโs social media. She had zero experience. No tech background. Not even a Facebook account. She cried. She wrote a letter asking to stay in her comfort zone. But the church handed her a phone and said, โWe believe God chose you.โ
Her nieces taught her how to post. She practiced late into the night. Some nights she cried from frustration, wondering if this was really what God wanted.
Then one day, six months in, she posted a video of schoolgirls singing a song called โWhen Thereโs No Hope (There Is Grace).โ Days later, she got a message.
โHi, Iโm Rick Hendrix. I wrote that songโand Iโm in tears watching this.โ
She learned he was a White House faith advisor and award-winning composer. He followed the page. Watched the full video and cried again.
That moment confirmed something Loanne had been asking God for months: โWas I really called to this?โ
The answer came through tearsโhers and his.
