We’re looking for some amazing volunteers to help us usher for our sponsors dance performances. This could raise a HUGE amount of money for The Biggest Playdate!! 👏

📍 Drum Theatre, Dandenong
⏰ Shifts available between 8am–8pm
🙋‍♀️ Just 3 hours of your time!

It’s a simple job — welcoming families, checking tickets and directing children to where their warm up rooms are.

Bring a friend, have some fun and be part of an incredible community fundraising weekend!

Since 2024, the Steel Club of Victoria (SCOV) has proudly donated $37,000 to The Miranda Foundation, supporting "The Biggest Playdate" — an incredible carnival fun day dedicated to helping children with cancer and their families.

We would like to congratulate Vanessa and everyone involved in this year’s event, held in March, which raised an outstanding $86,000! 👏

These funds will go directly to the Monash Children’s Cancer Centre, helping support the important work they do for children undergoing cancer treatment and their families.

SCOV is incredibly proud to support initiatives like The Biggest Playdate and to see the generosity of our steel industry contribute to something that makes a genuine difference in our community.

Congratulations to everyone who donated, volunteered, sponsored and helped make the day such a success. 💛

At 14, a cancer diagnosis changed Taylah’s life overnight. That journey - through chemo, hospital stays, and everything in between - is what brought her to where she is today, as a Children's Cancer Foundation Ambassador.

✨ What an incredible day at The Biggest Playdate!

Today was filled with laughter, rides, games, delicious food, and so many families coming together for a cause that means so much to us. Seeing our community show up and support this event year after year is something truly special.

Before we share the big number, we want to say a huge thank you to our major sponsors, Steel Club Victoria, Southern Dance Festival and Aspendale Gardens Community Service whose support helped make today possible.

And an especially heartfelt thank you to our amazing volunteers… the people who gave up their time not only today, but who have been planning, organising and working behind the scenes with us for months and months to bring this event to life. We truly couldn’t have done it without you. Big shoutout to our fav, Alanna's Mummy!
