What a LEGENDARY weekend at Sunraysia Rover Scout Activity Camp in Wentworth! Some of our Scouts and Venturers headed up to the Darling River and had an absolute blast. We got completely plastered in mud crawling through the Obstacle course, went screaming down the epic giant slide straight into the river, and launched off the flying fox that dropped us right into a glorious pool of mud.
On the drive up we stopped at Lake Tyrrell for one of the best sunsets you’ll ever see.
Filthy, soaked, non-stop laughing and already counting down to the next one!
This is Scouts: massive adventures, zero fear of getting dirty, and the best mates you’ll ever make. If you’re 11 to 14 and these pics make you think “I HAVE to do that!”, then come and join Kooweerup Scouts! We’ve got heaps more weekends like this coming up. – your next big adventure is waiting!

A big thank you to Rooboy Racing for bringing down there humpy holden and Beer n Bu****it Racing for bringing down 2 of there tractors Infected and Little W***y to our scouts Motorsports night.

Our Motorsports Night was full throttle from start to finish: roaring engines, wild builds, and behind-the-scenes access to the machines that make motorsport tick. Scouts got up close with the gear, the guts, and the glory — and yep, we even got to climb into the driver’s seat (figuratively and literally).

A big thank you to our committee and parents in fund-raising for our new tents. They are getting there first camp in Wentworth for the Sunraysia Mallee Mud Kamp.

Discover the adventure camp saw us join Cardinia District at their Bi-annual camp. We had a fabulous time around camp participating in the activities. We headed to the National Vietnam Veterans Museum and spent Saturday evening watching the penguins.

Last year our cub scouts visited the SES unit in Pakenham to learn about being emergency ready. SES Pakenham ran an informative and fun evening teaching about preparing for floods and what to have in an emergency bag.
