There has been a lack of new posts even though we just created this page. The reason being is I am going in to have surgery on my left wrist to have it fused. Once I am well enough we will start exploring new places and documenting our travels

Our Goals and Reasons Why

An Idea put to action, putting some of the more remote and isolated of the road back country places back on the map. Exploring and documenting places of a bygone era, in the hope of preserving their existence. Before they are lost to time and more sadly to the march of the big business mining and pastoral companies. They don't care for preservation of our past history and times gone by. No one seems to want to preserve these places they are just left to the elements, vandals and the West Australia Government who seem to love bull dozing instead of preservation. For example the YouandMi town site they turned up one day and bulldozed anything that was standing. This grinds at me as my Nanna was born at YouandMi. There's many town sites that just don't exist anymore thanks to this policy. The picture is of whats left at YouanMi today
