Do you live in Kurnell?

Right now, we are keen to increase the number active operational members who live in Kurnell.

Our volunteers respond to bush fires, house fires, car fires, motor vehicle accidents, fire alarms and community callouts.

The more local members we have, the more likely we can get trucks and crews responding when emergencies happen, day or night, 24/7.

Full training provided. Applications now open.

Yesterday, members from Kurnell RFS attended a 20 hectare hazard reduction burn at Still Creek North, Illawong. For some of our members it was their introduction into what we do to assist with reducing bushfire risk to our community. With a low intensity burn which was conducted over a 12hour period, our young members did an awesome job stepping up & completing the burn safely & effectively. Job well done guys! πŸ”₯πŸš’
