The City of Kwinana has recently made moves to communicate with residents and the wider community through online media including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. We hope that we are providing information which you find relevant and useful and we welcome any suggestions for future improvements – just post it on our wall! We do however need to advise our fans of a few rules and regulations which we en

force on our page.

1. Any posts or comments made on our page can at any time be removed without notice. The removal of posts or comments is at the discretion of the Zone Youth Space, City of Kwinana and the administrators of our page.

2. While we do encourage open and transparent dialogue, the Zone Youth Space will act immediately to protect the privacy and rights of any individual or group of individuals. Any comments which specifically identify or otherwise refer to individual people in a negative manner, particularly City of Kwinana employees, will be instantly removed.

3. The Zone Youth Space, City of Kwinana and our page administrators reserve the right to remove any posts which are:

• Obscene or offensive
• Defamatory
• Overtly sexual or explicit
• Threatening or describing violent events or behaviours

4. The Zone Youth Space and City of Kwinana are not directly affiliated with any advertisement or post that may appear on our page unless we state otherwise or unless it comes directly from the Zone Youth Space. We neither endorse nor sponsor the adverts that may appear while viewing our page.

5. The Zone Youth Space and our page administrators may at any time, without justification, remove comments and access rights to a person who violates these guidelines.

Comments will be responded to during normal business hours between 8am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

This scholarship is a mentoring program for young people aged 15 – 24 years with an education or employment goal. Work with a mentor over four weeks to achieve your goal.

⭐Have an idea that could make a difference in Kwinana?

The Kwinana Youth Impact Grants are open now — supporting young people aged 12–24 to grow skills, run events or activities, represent Kwinana or WA (sport, arts or recreation), or take action on sustainability and climate projects.

Funding available:
💵Up to $500 for individuals
💵Up to $1,000 for groups

Who can apply? Young people aged 12–24 who live, work, or go to school in the City of Kwinana.

It is important to apply at least 6 weeks before you need the funding.

Applications open all year-round or until funding is exhausted so don't delay!
