Kyneton Foodbank The Kindness Collective Kyneton is now Kyneton Foodbank.

As a community based not for profit we offer an Op Shop, Free FoodBank, Drop In Space, Soup Kitchen, and Crisis Relief for people in the Macedon Ranges who find themselves in need. The Kindness Collective Kyneton is an independent, community-based incorporated association, whose primary purpose is to support those in our local community who find themselves in need. the Kindness Collective's aim is

to provide local members of the Macedon Ranges community with a range of essential services including:
Op Shop, Free foodbank, Drop In Space, and Soup Kitchen, Crisis relief, (clothing and household items)

The Kindness Collective is self-funding and depends on the generosity of the local community who support our work through the donation of food and other goods, as well as important financial contributions.

The Kindness Collective is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission and is endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) with the Australian Taxation Office – making financial donations tax deductible.

💙 Help us keep our community warm this winter

At Kyneton Foodbank, we’re seeing more and more people experiencing homelessness walk through our doors. While we currently provide essential food support, the need is growing for something more immediate as the colder weather approaches.

We are seeking your support in helping us raise funds to purchase 10 Backpack Beds at $144 each and 10 sleeping bags at $35 each a simple, life-changing way to help someone stay warm and safer overnight.

Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference in our community. Together, we can do more than fill stomachs we can offer dignity and protection through the cold nights ahead.

We kindly ask our community to please not leave donations outside of opening hours.

Despite clear signage, we arrived this morning to find items left at our front entrance including two car seats, which unfortunately are something we are unable to accept. While we are incredibly grateful for the generosity and support of our community, items left outside can be damaged, unsafe, or unsuitable for use. This also creates an added burden for our team, as the cost of removing and disposing of unusable donations has significantly increased for us, especially with the rising cost of living impacting everyone including our organisation.

To ensure your donations can truly help those in need, we kindly ask that all items are brought in during our opening hours so our team can assess and distribute them appropriately.
