A great weekend at the 2026 Volunteer Fire Brigades Victoria Championships by our Juniors. Go # 7.

Stawell put on two glorious days of fun, rivalry, friendships and team work.
Our Junior team surprised us with the skills they have developed over the season. Trophies are good but their smiles are better.

Our results.

Under 14s,

4th - Event 3 - Wet hose striking 2nd disk.
1st - Event 7 - Wet hose striking 1st and 2nd disks.
1st - Event 11 - Wet hose for two competitors.
4th - Event 13 - Y Coupling for two competitors.
3rd - Event 16 - Wet hose striking one disk twice.

2nd in the Under 14 aggregate, just one point behind Grovedale.

Under 17s,

3rd - Event 12 - Hydrant Race.
4th - Event 18 - Wet hose striking one disk twice.

The champion brigade was the very strong Echuca Team. Congratulations to Echuca and Grovedale for their successful weekend.

The support of the Kyneton Fire Brigade (CFA) is amazing, as the Juniors were supported by eight senior members as officials and judges.

A massive thank you to the Brigade members, parents and friends who made our championship a great success.
