Maths in KRF

This week KRF explored number sense by learning about “Friends of 10”. Students practised visualising different number combinations that make 10 using unifix cubes. They had lots of fun working out how many cubes were hidden and using their Friends of 10 knowledge to explain their thinking.

We also recorded number sentences to represent our thinking and mathematical reasoning.

It was fantastic to see everyone so engaged, thinking mathematically and supporting one another throughout the lesson. Well done, KRF!
