Lakes Entrance IRB (Inflatable Rescue Boat) Team Lakes Entrance IRB Team was re-founded in 2011, after IRB competition ceased in Victoria after 1997. Lakes Ent.

Lakes Entrance IRB currently opperates out of the Lakes Entrance SLSC, in East Gippsland, Victoria. The team, currently consisting of 5 members, currently races state, and Australian wide in 'Rescue Racing'. (One of Surf Life Saving's Disiplines)
The 5 disipline events in Rescue races last about 45 seconds each in lenght, leaving no time for errors. IRB Team & Surf Life Saving Club is proudly supported by local complaines in the area.

12 degrees and 29km winds... The girls sure put in the hard yards today!
Training consisted of practicing the different races, in particular the 'Mass'.
The cold took its toll, but the girls pushed through and kept a positive attitude (until of course it was time to finish-see photo)
