MASSIVE ANNOUNCEMENT!!! 🥳

Guys, it’s been a looooong time since we engaged with our social media, and for that we apologise.

As many of you were aware, after the roller coaster ride that we faced since opening, we had to make a very difficult decision to close our doors last year, and try to sell our business.

A lot has happened behind the scenes, and we’ve been super excited to tell you all this update…

We did sell our business, to a WONDERFUL couple, Shane and Judith, who are the proud owners of SoulFoods Cafe, in Officer.

We could not be more delighted with the people we’ve handed over our beautiful space to, and know that they will bring so much to our lovely town and community.

But wait, there’s more! Shane and Judith have kept many of our child friendly features and equipment, which means the new cafe will be family friendly, and continue to provide a safe and welcoming space for young families to play and dine.

Their biggest point of difference is their menu, that has to be seen (and tasted) to be believed!
Gluten free, sugar free, dairy free, vegan friendly, and oh so delicious!
Those of you that had concerns with your little ones allergies, rest assured, you will be well catered for here.

We cannot wait to visit the new set up, and hope many of you jump on board to support them in this big exciting adventure.

We would like to share with very mixed emotions that we are searching for new faces to take over our beautiful little business 💔

Imagine That! Creative Play Space has been a dream for us. From the initial planning, to the custom build/fit out (by us!), to finally opening our doors and establishing our customers along the way. We set everything up with the plan to have a long and joyous journey here, but unfortunately due to personal reasons we are unable to keep our little biz baby.

We contemplated closing down, but really could think of nothing worse. The bones are impeccable, the feedback to boot and our customers are honestly the best!
We think the business is very much viable, having had majority of this years weekends fully booked out with parties and events, and our limited play sessions equally booking out. There is plenty of scope to expand!

We are looking for new owners who can envision their own little dream in our space.

What we have to offer:
* A perfect location! With double window frontage, opposite the newly built playground in the heart of Lang Lang. We have customers travel from all over Melbourne, but equally many visitors from surrounding regional towns too.
* A registered business (company) and council approved set up. We have passed all inspections with flying colours as our set up was custom created so recently, therefore easily complying with all regs.
* Our business name (if you want it), with quality signage, window decals, website, etc.
* A custom built play space, built from the ground up by our families (they’re tradesmen!), and of course various quality activities/equipment for young children.
* A beautiful custom cafe area with all essential appliances. Including regularly serviced coffee machine, grinder, commercial display fridge, under bar fridge, commercial sandwich press, pie warmer, dishwasher and oven!
* A small scale commercial kitchen with brand new council required grease trap installed, stainless steel benches, shelving, etc.
* Ample cafe tables, chairs and highchairs in excellent condition. Including children’s tables and chairs (for parties).
* Crockery and cutlery, all purchased new with only 12 months of use.
* A custom designed nappy change area (we get so much positive feedback about this), and neatly renovated spacious bathroom.
* Opportunity to purchase any remaining stock (at cost price), commercial cleaning supplies, etc.
* List of suppliers and services.
* A local, supportive and reasonable landlord, who with approval will happily extend our lease to a new owner.

Our customers are beautiful families, who appreciate genuine customer service. A smiling face, someone who wants to make their day a little brighter. We are very flattered to say that many are regular visitors, bringing along new people often.

We were lucky enough to receive an incredible review by the famous “Mumma Knows” blogger, which definitely got the ball rolling on our business spreading organically in the early days, and continues to promote us now. We’ve also featured in multiple local papers and newsletters. This has contributed to a great following of new and regular customers, excited to visit in the new year.

We are happy to provide further insight and information to potential buyers, and will eventually advertise via broader avenues. We wanted our closest followers to know first, incase you or someone you know may be interested in a very rare opportunity.

Good morning, to all our wonderful followers 👋

We know it’s been a looooong time since we’ve posted. Life has certainly been a rollercoaster ride for us all.

A little update on the business front, after much deliberation we have made the difficult decision to remain closed for the rest of the year.

Please be patient with us, more updates to follow soon!

After an awesome 3 days, we’re back into lockdown until further notice.

Once again, the love, kindness and support has been very felt.

🎉 We’re coming back… again! 👏

After today’s announcements we will be reopening our play sessions from Tuesday (3rd August) next week.

We do have to follow density limits, so please make sure when making your booking online, to add how many adults will be attending in the notes section.

Sadly, our parties this weekend are unable to go ahead due to a frustrating group limit rule. We are hopeful this won’t stick around for long, but have been in touch with all our families that this will impact.

We’re very sorry to say that as of this evening, we are closed until this latest lockdown ends.

We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for all the love and support you’ve shown to us these past few weeks.

Our socials have been slack, but it’s for good reason, because we’ve been kept so busy with booked out play sessions, catering jobs and parties!

Your support gives us hope that we’re on the right track, and the strength to keep riding this rollercoaster of small business life.
