Good afternoon parents,
please see the time table for the district athletics on Monday. Please make sure your child has plants to drink and eat for the day. Students will need to wear their hats when they are not competing.

There will be a coffee van at the venue and the canteen will be open for parents to purchase.

Today we completed a mandatory lockdown drill. All students and staff did a great job of following the procedures that we have in place. Our leadership and OHS teams will now collect feedback and identify any follow-up actions so we can keep improving our Emergency Management Plan procedures.

What a magnificent book week we have had at LPS this week . We started with a visit from book author Danielle Binks for the year 5/6 students last Friday where all students were totally engaged .
Followed up by an incredible grandparents day where grandparents /special people could visit the classrooms and some of our specialist programs .
Today was another fun day with our very popular book parade .
So many families have visited our book fair before and after school .
Tomorrow, ends our book week .
The last chance to visit the book fair is after school on Thursday until 4pm .
Thanks to everyone who has supported our love of books.

‼️Today - Book Week Parade
Students are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite book character and join in our Book Week Parade. Prizes will be given out to the best dressed on the day. Teachers will also be dressing up as their favourite book character.
Our Book Parade will begin at 9:05am in the EMC Basketball Stadium. Parents are welcome to come along and support this event.
