We’ve have been working behind the scenes to bring Wahroonga on Bourke 2.0 to life. A refined two-bedroom luxury stay where heritage character meets modern comfort.

Originally built in 1901, Wahroonga has long been a place of connection and hospitality. This next chapter honours that legacy, reimagined with a focus on thoughtful design, elevated detail and a truly considered guest experience.

We are welcoming this Saturday as our first unofficial guest/guinea pig while we refine our offering and put the finishing touches on this project.

Thank you to the incredible team who has got us to this point. .curtains

Bookings will open this November, stay tuned for more to come.

Tasmania feels generous right now, it’s at its peak without being rushed.

We love the long golden evenings, clear light and mild temperatures that let you enjoy the outdoors. Vineyards are alive with harvest energy, cellar doors are buzzing, and the food is exceptional because produce, seafood and berries are all abundant. The beaches and walks are beautiful but still uncrowded, the air has that clean, salt and eucalyptus freshness Tasmania does so well.

Think slow lunches, late sunsets, swimming in cold clear water, and gathering around good food and wine.

We love discovering new stories to share with our guests and lately we have fallen in love with a beautiful new book from by a Tasmanian photographer and author . A place where Pandani trees rise from a sea of pineapple grass and massive cushion plants appear as if they have pushed up from another world. This is the breathtaking southwest of Tasmania.

Nearly 40% of the island is protected within national parks and reserves, much of it forming the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area, recognized for both its natural and cultural significance. I am proud of the work put into safeguarding this incredible place for generations to come.
