Father's Day Stall is open tomorrow. Your child may bring in cash to purchase a gift for dad. QKR is now closed. Classes will visit the stall throughout the day tomorrow.

🎁💙 FATHER’S DAY STALL – TUESDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER 💙🎁

Our Father’s Day Stall is coming up, giving students the chance to choose something special for Dad, Grandad, Pop or another special person in their life. 💛

🏫 How will the stall work?
Students will visit the Father’s Day Stall with their class during the school day on Tuesday 1st September.

Qkr payments:
QKR is open to add funds for your student to spend funds at the Fathers Day Stall. QKR will close on Sunday 30th August 4pm.

If your student doesn’t use all of the funds you have provided through Qkr, the remaining amount will be returned to them in cash.

If there is a larger amount to be returned, we will give it to their teacher to safely hand back at the end of the school day.

⭐ Missed the stall?

If your student is away on Tuesday or accidentally forgets their money, don’t worry!

We will have a POP-UP FATHER’S DAY STALL available:

📅 Thursday 3rd September
📍 Outside the school office

This will give students another opportunity to purchase their special Father’s Day gift. 🎁

💛 All proceeds from the stall go straight back into supporting our school and students.

We are refreshing our stairs at the end of two of our blocks. Outside 1D & 2D. Due to this we have had a large section of our school walkways fenced off. Staff and students have been asked to use other stairs & walkways during this time to access their classrooms and the playground.
Parents will need to either go around by the library or through to prep area and around to the green to drop off their students each morning.
If collecting your student from the year 1 waiting area today, please wait out on the green near the year 1 playground and could we please ask that you arrange a different meeting point from tomorrow.

👕 Extended Uniform Shop Hours This Wednesday! 👕

Our Braymazing Uniform Shop will be open with extended trading hours this Wednesday to coincide with our Enrolment Afternoon Interviews.

Whether you're planning ahead and purchasing uniforms for your child starting Year 7 in 2027, getting ready for the move into Senior School (from Year 9 to Year 10), or simply replacing items after an unexpected growth spurt, now is the perfect time to visit our wonderful Uniform Shop team!

SHACK is back!

It's on from Wednesday 23 September to Friday 26 September, 9am - 3pm each day for kids in grades 3 - 6.
$50 total for all three days.

Old McDonald had a farm, EIEIO! 🐣
And on that farm he found some… Lawnton State School students!
The Preps loved there excursion to Trevena Glen Farm last week. They learnt how to care for farm animals and went on a tractor ride.
This excursion was to prepare our littlest learners for their English unit of retelling an event they have experienced.
Thank you to staff and parents for a wonderful day at the farm! 🐷🐴🐔🐮

Monday: It’s warming up during the day, please don’ t forget water bottle and a hat.

Tuesday:
Pre-Prep interviews for 2027 Preps. By appointment only.
Father’s Day stall, each class will visit through out the day. You can put money on QKR for you kids or cash will be accepted too.

Wednesday:
Indigenous Literacy Day

Thursday:
Year 2 excursion.

Friday: Student free day, no formal schooling for students this day.

Musical children - All day rehearsal, 9am - 3pm. Don’t forget to bring your full costumes please.
