New AED Installed at Pioneer Park, Leeman

The St John WA Community First Responder AED Program has expanded its network of publicly accessible defibrillators in Leeman, increasing the total number of 24/7 available AEDs to eight (8).

This expansion has been made possible through the generous support of the Trash to Treasure Grant Program.

The newest AED has been installed at Pioneer Park (Main Jetty) and is located on the northern wall of the toilet block, ensuring accessibility in the event of an emergency.

In cases of sudden cardiac arrest, early defibrillation is a critical link in the Chain of Survival. Immediate access to an AED can significantly improve survival outcomes.

St John WA Leeman – Green Head Sub Centre extends its sincere thanks to the Trash to Treasure Committee and its members for their valued contribution toward improving community safety.
