🔥NSW Ambulance has issued an Advice warning for a severe heatwave affecting:
• Northern Rivers
• Mid North Coast
• Hunter
• Northern Tablelands
• Central Tablelands
• Snowy Mountains
• North West Slopes and Plains
• Central West Slopes and Plains
• South West Slopes
• Riverina
• Lower Western
• Upper Western
Severe heatwave conditions are expected to intensify this weekend and into next week. Temperatures are forecast to hit the mid-40s for part of inland NSW. Locations likely to impacted by the intensifying heatwave conditions include Armidale, Broken Hill, Bourke, Cobar, Condobolin, Hay, Ivanhoe, Dubbo, Deniliquin, Moree, Orange, Tamworth and Wagga Wagga.
Stay informed, monitor conditions, and be ready to take action if conditions change.
Tips to stay safe:
• Stay hydrated and avoid outdoor activities during the hottest parts of the day.
