Christmas is just around the corner people. Get in early for any repairs or upgrades. If you leave it too late, you might not get it back when you want it.

Just wanted to make people aware of the road closures for tomorrow's Launceston 10.

IMPORTANT ROAD CLOSURES ADVICE - SUNDAY, JUNE 18:

Motorists are advised of a number of road closures in place this Sunday, June 18, from 7am to 1pm for the Tasmanian Running Festival.

The affected areas are:

- Cameron St between Tamar (City Park) and Charles streets
- St John St between Paterson St and The Esplanade
- The Esplanade between St John St and Lower Charles St
- East Tamar Hwy between Goderich St and the University Way off-ramp (southbound lanes only). Two way traffic will operate on the western side of the Highway

Additionally, Tamar St will be closed from Cimitiere St to Brisbane Street between approximately 9am and 12.30pm - traffic will be able to turn left at Cimitiere St and Boland St.

Routes into the City for Northern Suburbs residents:
- via Rocherlea interchange to join the East Tamar Highway
- via Invermay Rd, then left after the bridge onto Boland St and/or Cimitiere St.

Traffic management will be in place for the safety of event participants and spectators and motorists. We ask the community to please:

- be aware of these road closures and share this information
- plan to travel outside the closure times
- park away from these areas to avoid delays.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience during this very worthwhile event for our city.
