Happy Monday everyone.
As you're aware, we began the process of combining the pages of the former Leichhardt, Marrickville and Ashfield Councils. Unfortunately it appears that while we can merge our followers, we cannot merge our content. If we went ahead with the merge, it would have deleted all of our previous LMC posts.
We're not going to do that, so for the time being this page will remain. So that we don't confuse you with more than one "Inner West Council" page we're renaming it back to "Leichhardt Council - Former".
But please be aware that we won't be posting here any more. If you want to keep up to date with what's happening you need to follow our new official Inner West Council page.

On Saturday Renew Leichhardt shop The Rizzeria will present a class on illustrating with Ink and Nib. You'll learn all about dip pens, inking techniques and how to put it all together.
The class is held by Artistic Author, Jesse Anderson. An illustrator, comic writer and aspiring 2D animator, Jesse runs the weekly webcomic The Offcuts and creates art videos on his Youtube channel. http://ow.ly/UerI300vPDb

Merging our Facebook accounts
The eagle eyed have already spotted that there are now two Inner West Council pages.
We want to keep on sharing all the news and events of the new Inner West Council, and we don’t want to lose any of you on the way.
So we've started the process of merging the existing pages of the previous Ashfield, Leichhardt and Marrickville councils. To do that, the pages have to have the same name.
Ashfield will be next.
Bear with us. This process will take a few weeks, but in the end you will have one council page bringing you even more news and events from across our new LGA.
We’ve loved serving our Leichhardt Council residents and we'll keep offering the excellent services you are used to, but we’re looking forward to the opportunities of being one bigger Inner West Council.
