📣 Greater Hobart Bus Network Review – Update for Families

Bus timetables across Greater Hobart — including some school routes — will change from 3 May 2026 to improve reliability.

What students need to know:
* Plan your trip before Term Two starts on Monday 4 May 2026.
* Some students may need to be at stops earlier or may have
different transfer points.
* Journey planning apps will show new services from 1 April 2026

Preview timetables at: transport.tas.gov.au/bus-network-review

Public transport is free until 30 June 2026, so it’s a great time to try new routes.

These changes are the first stage of the Greater Hobart Bus Network Review, with more community consultation happening throughout 2026.

ℹ️ If you have feedback or questions about the new timetables or require additional support please contact State Growth
