Last night we thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic evening of connection, delicious food, laughter (as well as a few tears), paired with great company and beautiful artwork.

Fiona Kennedy - Artist, Business Woman & Mother. WOW! We learned more about her story and artistic process, and each guest received a personalized gift. What a treat!

Bluette on Bear also treated us to their exceptional food and outstanding service, ensuring we felt extremely well taken care of. Our sincere gratitude goes to them and their staff.

The Health & Healing Collective and also Jill Wellard, Sue & Hayleigh from Kin Goods, generously donated door prizes, won by Ann-Marie Hepple, and Angela Taylor.

Based in Inverloch on the Bass Coast, Fiona is a contemporary large-scale artist whose symbolic and emotionally resonant work explores identity, love, loss, family and our connection to nature. Across more than 20 years of artistic practice, she has developed a distinctive personal language of symbols and metaphors, with her work earning both local and international recognition. Fiona is also the author of Life Through the Heart of Fiona Kennedy, a book sharing her artwork and the stories behind it.

Set in the heart of Inverloch’s creative Bear Street precinct, Bluette offers a warm and stylish setting for connection, conversation and inspiration. The café has built a reputation as a welcoming local favourite, known for its thoughtful presentation, quality coffee and inviting atmosphere, making it a beautiful backdrop for an evening of networking and shared stories.

With over 11 years in policing, Sgt Parry brings a diverse background across the CBD, inner and outer eastern suburbs, outer southern suburbs, the Bass Coast — and now South Gippsland — sharing real-world insight into the issues impacting women in our region. 💛

What a gorgeous way to wrap up the year ✨🍷🎄

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the SBWN Christmas Party at Dirty Three Wines in Inverloch on Thursday 11 December. It was such a fantastic evening — filled with laughter, meaningful conversations, new connections and that special SBWN energy that makes our network so unique.

Dirty Three Wines was the perfect setting for our festive catch-up — gorgeous wines, a relaxed atmosphere, and the ideal spot to settle in and enjoy the night together.

And a very special thank you to The Larder (Inverloch) for the incredible food. The most amazing spread of fresh salads, beautiful brisket, divine desserts, and a stunning fruit platter — it was absolute perfection and so enjoyed by everyone. 🤍

To our members and guests — thank you for showing up, supporting one another, and helping make the evening so memorable. We’re so grateful for this community and everything it represents.
