Please note the following information regarding the national AusAlert testing happening tomorrow.
📢 National AusAlert Test – Monday 27 July 2026
A test AusAlert Critical Alert will be sent to mobile devices across Australia on Monday 27 July. This includes most mobile phones, as well as some smart watches and tablets.
⚠️ Important:
• AusAlert does not replace the VicEmergency app.
🕒 Test Times
• ACT, NSW, QLD, TAS, VIC – 2:00 pm (AEST)
• NT, SA (including Broken Hill) – 1:30 pm (ACST)
• WA – 12:00 pm (AWST)
📱 What to Expect
Your device will:
✅ Vibrate
✅ Play a loud siren-like sound for approximately 10 seconds
✅ Display a message clearly stating that it is a test

🙌 Prefer Not to Receive the Test?
As a Critical Alert, it cannot be switched off in your device settings.
If receiving the alert may cause distress or disruption, turn your device off or place it in aeroplane mode for at least one hour from your state's test time.
