Last night, our volunteer firefighters from the Lethbridge Fire Brigade teamed up with crews from Bannockburn, Stonehaven, Geelong West, Lara and Geelong City for a big hands-on session.

The focus? Tackling running grass fires. Crews practised working along the fire edge, following the flames as they moved, just like they would on a real fireground.

They also sharpened up their skills cutting chains off gates and fences, so they can get into locked properties quickly when every minute counts.

Great to see so many brigades working side by side, building the teamwork that keeps our community safe this fire season. 🚒👏🏻🚒

A big thank you to all the volunteers who gave up their evening! 👏🏻🚒👏🏻
