Belgrave Police had front row glimpses into the magic of the Belgrave Lantern Festival on Saturday night.

Thanks to the Belgrave Traders and Belgrave CFA for collaborating with us in the planning and ex*****on stages to keep everyone in the community as safe as possible throughout this event.

We had a quite a few missing kids this year that we were able to work together to quickly reunite with their families and traffic congestion was kept to a minimum. Hope to see everyone there again next year.

Thankyou. 😇

Police members on patrol across the Kings Birthday weekend within the Knox, Maroondah and Yarra Ranges Police service areas, would like to thank our residents and their visitors for taking extra care whilst driving on our roads throughout this long weekend.

Your efforts, together with a highly visible police presence resulted in no fatal or serious injury collisions being recorded across the four days of Victoria’s road safety Operation REGAL. This is highly unusual and a fabulous result, particularly given the weather has turned wintery!

Working together, makes the biggest difference in reducing our state’s road toll.
