“Setting sail for success! 🌊⛵ Our recent team-building escapade on Lake Macquarie was a true testament to the incredible teamwork and spirit at Maddison Safety & Lithgow Fire. We got a firsthand glimpse of the dedication and hard work our manufacturing team puts in every day, and it was an unforgettable experience.

Huge thanks to Sue for orchestrating the entire day seamlessly.
Elva, you’re a rockstar—keeping the ship afloat and helping every team reach their full potential!

Robbi kicked off the day with a rundown of events, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience. Each staff member had the chance to express gratitude and share their expectations for the day. Then, the real adventure began as we were divided into four diverse teams, each led by one of our amazing manufacturing maestros.

The color-coded chaos unfolded as we were handed t-shirts to embroider and materials to craft flags for the upcoming sailing race. Teams not only had to brand their shirts but also design flags that embodied what Maddison Safety and Lithgow Fire mean to them.

With a two-hour time limit, the “gophers” in pink shirts sprinted around, ensuring every team had what they needed. The red team, aka the Pirates, conquered the waters on Squid, claiming victory. SS Together Forever (blue), Team Elva (green), and the Maddison Mariners (purple) navigated the waves with style, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Expert skippers and crews briefed us on the course around Belmont, Marks Point, Coal Point, and Belmont Bay. The race was on, and teamwork took center stage as staff members actively participated in sailing the boats. Laughter filled the air, but for some, gripping the boat’s sides was a testament to the thrilling wind and boat tilts.

As we safely returned, a beautiful lunch and refreshing beverages awaited, creating the perfect setting for reflections and shared stories. Consensus? This was undeniably the best team-building day ever

THIRD PRIZE WINNER

We're thrilled to announce that the third prize winner of the $500 Visa Card, Whitehaven Maules Creek, has generously donated their prize voucher to Zig Zag Primary School!

Tim Maddison presented the voucher to Zig Zag's principal, Vicky Gilmore, and the eager students who are sure to benefit from this thoughtful donation.

A big round of applause to Whitehaven Maules Creek for paying it forward, making a positive impact, and supporting our local community.

Shop NOW Open!!!

We are now 4 months into the transformation of Lithgow Fire & Safety and even though we have had quite a few obstacles to navigate, we are extremely happy with how the team has adapted and how the business is progressing.

This note is to let you all know that our shop is now OPEN FOR BUSINESS at 235 Main Street Lithgow. Trading hours are Monday to Thursday 7am – 4pm and Friday 7am – 3pm.

We currently have a great range of Winter PPE, Work Boots & Mad Manufacturing Belts, Bags & Pouches in stock.
