🧡🧡National Volunteer Week is currently being observed, with Wear Orange Wednesday (WOW Day) today serving as a national tribute to State Emergency Volunteers across Australia who volunteer countless hours to provide critical support during natural disasters like floods, storms, and tsunamis.

The search continues for a missing elderly man with dementia in the Rossmore area. Crews have been out every day since Monday afternoon assisting NSW Police Force with the search.

Over 350 NSW SES members from 32 Units across the Metro area, along with agencies such as VRA, NSW Rural Fire Service and Police Dog Unit - NSW Police Force have been working together tirelessly to locate the man.

🚤Who Let The Boats Out 2026🚤
Yesterday, Liverpool SES joined multiple units across the state, participating in the annual NSW SES exercise, Who Let The Boats Out.
Liverpool SES, launched locally on the Georges River and were joined by vessels from NSW SES Campbelltown Unit and members from NSW SES Hurstville Unit.
Designed to exercise the coordination of large scale flood rescue operations, our members familiarised themselves with our local waterway, practicing emergency drills and responses.

Liverpool City Council Australia crew are onsite now working together with NSW SES Liverpool volunteers removing the remaining tree from cycling way. Our lovely Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park was here to collect some leaves for our Koala - was lovely to help trim some branches for them.

Gotta love that inter-agency tag team work! 🤝

Cheers to Fire and Rescue NSW crews that worked quickly on clearing a large tree that had fallen over Cowpasture Road (near Frederick Rd) just before 7:00am. NSW SES Liverpool teams are now working on clearing the rest of the tree still blocking the breakdown lane and pathway.

Gotta love that inter-agency tag team work! 🤝

Welcome to the year of the Fire Horse 🐴
Members from NSW SES Liverpool, NSW SES Fairfield Unit and NSW SES Bankstown Unit were out at Phuoc Hue Buddhist Temple on Monday night assisting with traffic and parking management for LNY celebrations, until the wee hours of Tuesday.
👏Team work really does make the dream work!

Several teams have been working tirelessly since the heavy rainfall all day yesterday, as well as today. Mostly leaking roofs and collasped ceilings.

Our volunteers are working as fast as they can, whilst being safe, to get through the many calls for assistance.

☎️ Contact the NSW SES at 132 500 for emergency help during floods and storms. If you no longer require assistance, please call back to save volunteers coming out.
