A Total Fire Ban has been declared for the Central, Mallee, North Central, North East, Northern Country, West & South Gippsland and Wimmera districts for Wednesday 11 February 2026.

No fires can be lit, or be allowed to remain alight, in the open air from 12:01 AM until 11:59 PM.

Today was the 4th day Pyramid Hill Tanker and fcv has attended the fire down at Harcourt. We had members from Pyramid Hill, Yarawalla, Serpentine, Loddon Vale and Yando fill both the tanker and fcv along with tankers from Inglewood, Bridgewater, Rheola, Tarnagulla and Wedderburn to form ST2030. We worked along the southern side of Mt Alexander blacking out and later in the day patrolling for spot fires that could jump containment lines when fire activity increased this arvo.
