🎉🍦 100 Days to Go, Year 12! 🍦🎉

The countdown is officially ON! Our Year 12 students marked 100 days left of schooling in the most unforgettable way, celebrating with a visit from an ice cream van and dressing up as 100 year olds!

From walking sticks and grey wigs to cardigans and slippers, the creativity (and commitment!) on display was next level and it wasn’t just the students getting involved! Our staff joined in on the fun too, dressing up alongside the cohort and adding to the laughter and community spirit of the day.

It was a fantastic way to take a moment to laugh, reflect, and celebrate how far these students have come in their final year.

Here’s to making every one of the last 100 days count!

Today our Year 12 students officially began their final 100 days of school.

To mark the occasion, students embraced this year's theme, "100-Year-Olds: The Retirement Village Edition", arriving in everything from grey wigs and slippers to full retirement-home fashion.

With graduation, exams, formal celebrations and life beyond school now firmly on the horizon, today provides a chance to pause, have some fun, and celebrate how far this cohort has come.

Only 100 days remain. Make every one count. 🐺

Refugee Week is coming up in Week 9, and we’re proud to take this time to celebrate the strength, resilience, and contributions of refugees in our community.

Throughout the week, there will be a range of events and activities during lunch times to help us learn, connect, and show our support.

A Million Stories Display will be in the library during the week. Bring a photo or picture that represents your country or culture.

Logan City Special School will be holding their 2026 Post-School Expo on Tuesday 9 June from 4pm to 5:30pm at their Charles Avenue Campus.

The Expo is an opportunity for families to come along and check out all the service that are available to our young people with a disability, there are options for now and for future planning!

They are running session with Carer QLD to unpack NDIS, how to get started and make the most of your NDIS package!

This expo has something for ALL families, whether your child is in Prep or Year 12!

Come along for a community event afternoon, grab a sausage sizzle, stay for an information session and even maybe win a lucky door prize donated by their community supporters!!

🏐Intermediate Schools Cup - Year 10 Girls 🏐

Our Year 10 Girls formed as a team officially three weeks before the tournament began.
The team was formed with a mixture of players with no experience, to some veterans, and some senior helpers- who were given the challenge of leading the team and accepted the challenge.

A team that made a point to prioritise resilience, confidence and team synergy- lost some gut-wrenching close games. Then, marched on to go undefeated through the placing games on Saturday.
In a tense, dramatic placing final, we lost the first set - then went on to win the next two and pull off a sensational two-point finish in the deciding set. The jubilation and celebration at the end, was an incredible experience - as the team, playing together for the first time, claimed fifth in our division.

Well done to our Year 10 Girls and coaching team!
