🚜 Rural Financial Counsellor Emma Cook joined our RAPAD team at the Growq Expo in Longreach this week.

More than 200 people from across the ag industry attended the event, creating a valuable opportunity to connect with producers and discuss the free, confidential and independent support available through Rural Financial Counselling Service NQ and other RAPAD programs.

Emma attended alongside representatives from RAPAD’s Industry Recovery and Resilience and Exclusion Fencing Recovery programs bringing together the wide range of support available across our teams - from disaster recovery and grant applications through to drought preparedness and planning for the future with our team at Farm Business Planning North Queensland.

Congratulations to the Growq team on another successful event supporting producers and agricultural businesses across Western Queensland.

📣 Primary producers impacted by the North and Far North Tropical Low, 29 January - 28 February 2025, have until 14 August 2026 to submit their application for an Exceptional Disaster Assistance Recovery Grant.

Grants of up to $75,000 are available to help producers with cleanup and recovery costs associated with getting their businesses back on track following the above disaster event.

🎬 THAT'S A WRAP ON QLD SMALL BUSINESS MONTH 2026

It's been another productive QSBM for our team over the past month taking part in and delivering events, workshops, meetings and networking opportunities across North Queensland.

We thank Business Queensland, Queensland Small Business Commissioner's office, local chambers of commerce, councils, services and community groups for working with us, as we look forward to a new period for our small business and wellbeing programs.
