It’s another busy week at Lucindale Area School, with a range of learning opportunities, special events and student activities taking place across the school.

Highlights this week include:

🫶LOCAL COMMUNITY EVENT FOR REFUGEE WEEK🎨

A free community event will be held at the Naracoorte Town Hall tomorrow (Thursday 18 June) SA Refugee Week 2026 to celebrate the contributions, stories and richness that people from refugee and migrant backgrounds bring to our community.

The event will be hosted by the Australian Migrant Resource Centre in Naracoorte, the Limestone Coast Multicultural Network and Naracoorte Lucindale Council.

It will be held in the Wonambi Gallery in the Naracoorte Town Hall foyer at 10am and will feature guest speakers from Afghanistan and Tuvalu, a community art exhibition and free morning tea.

For four decades, SA Refugee Week has been a powerful celebration of courage, resilience and belonging. In 2026, a record 116 events are being held across South Australia from June 14-20.

This year's theme for SA Refugee Week is 'A Million Stories', which reminds us that every story matters and every connection strengthens our community.
