Year 11 Hospitality Students Host Morning Tea EVENT | πŸ’›πŸ½οΈ
Our Year 11 Hospitality students today showcased their culinary skills and creativity by hosting a wonderful Biggest Morning Tea event as part of their assessment unit.

From P1 today students worked diligently in the hospitality kitchens, preparing and presenting an impressive selection of menu items & homemade delights. Every item was cooked, baked, and prepared onsite, allowing students to demonstrate their food preparation, presentation, customer service, and teamwork skills in a real hospitality setting.

Staff and customers were treated to a delicious array of sweet and savoury offerings.
The Biggest Morning Tea was a fantastic success, with attendees enjoying the welcoming atmosphere, delicious treats while supporting a great cause.
The staff were incredibly proud of our Year 11 Hospitality student's skillset today.

A job well done in creating a memorable experience for everyone who attended. Special mention to our Hospitality staff for their valued teaching, organisation and planning that goes into these assessment pieces.

CLONTARF Partnership Career Insight | Our Clontarf Year 10, 11 and 12 students had the unique opportunity to attend a camp at the Lake Vermont Mine Site. Fully sponsored by our valued Clontarf partner, Thiess, the experience provided students with accommodation and an authentic insight into what a typical day on a working mine site looks like.

Throughout the camp, students gained first-hand exposure to the mining industry, learning about the various career opportunities available and the skills required to succeed in the sector.

This invaluable experience allowed students to engage with industry professionals, explore potential career pathways, and develop a greater understanding of the opportunities that exist beyond school.
