📢Grassy Head Road has now fully reopened!

🚧Grassy Head Road pavement rehabilitation works extended until this Tuesday 8 September, weather depending.

We wish to advise the final construction task of spraying bitumen seal over the rehabilitated road is now scheduled to take place on Tuesday 8 September, weather depending.

Here's an outline of works for the coming days:
• Friday 4 September to Sunday 6 September: road open to both lanes of the traffic, under a reduced speed limit.
• Monday 7 September to Tuesday 8 September: road open to one-lane of traffic, under a contraflow traffic control arrangement, outside of construction hours - from 3.30pm in the afternoons, up until 8.30am the following morning.

🚰Our team has repaired the bulk water filling station at Nambucca Industrial Estate, so you can fill up again now.

The other place bulk water carriers can use in the valley is the South Macksville reservoir. We're almost completed a new bulk filling station with turning circle at the Macksville Industrial Estate and there's another one under construction, along with a sewage pump station, near Old Boggy Creek Road, Nambucca Heads.

💦 Nambucca Heads splash pad at Bellwood Park will be closed from 7-25 September for scheduled maintenance and to construct a new footpath around the pad.

We hope to complete these works by the Spring school holidays, weather depending, so the park can be re-opened an enjoyed by all.
