This is what happens when I sit through another NDIS reassessment where headphones are declined AGAIN… even when they’ve been previously funded (more than once).
So yeah, let’s do this!

As we continue to work towards launching the Phoenix Myers Foundation, we've officially added another mission under our 'Project' umbrella.

The No Noise Project will provide ear defenders and noise-cancelling headphones to those in need.

We understand the hoops people are having to jump through, just to obtain something as simple as a tool like these to help them regulate, combat sensory overwhelm and nurture their ability to function to the best of their ability. It shouldn't be this hard but certain, shall we say, schemes, are making it near impossible, so we are doing what we can to remove the added stress.

This project will run along side The Phoudini Project and both will join forces once our charity is up and running.

Shout out to Ange McArthur from A C McArthur Services for bringing this issue to our attention. Remember her name - you'll be seeing it a lot more as she joins our team! She's a force to be reckoned with!

No but for real, the moral injury that has been inflicted upon me the last…. three years?
Over 4500 submissions and they did it anyway. I knew they would. So, yeah. Get wrecked 🤷🏻‍♀️🕺🏽

Over 4000 submissions explaining how this would impact people.
The Human Rights Commission even encouraged that this Bill should not pass.

And they did it anyway. I knew they would. Planners had already started implementing things just like they did last time.
Absolute fu***ng leeches in this government, who value money over lives.
People will die.
They know that.

Well done, on making history this way. I hope you’re proud. You have no idea how your scheme works. The money you could save is in the ART hearings that never should have been (I had a participant last week told they just needed a signature on a document to be accepted, that was the only thing, but how much did your lawyers get for that process??)
I’ve reported countless providers for doing the wrong thing and nothing gets done. I’ve seen one provider go to fraud because of my complaints and guess what? They’re still working.
You are both an absolute disappointment.

To my participants, I’m here - I need a minute to work out how this plays out and how I’ll need to fight when / if that comes for us, but I’m here, and I’m fu***ng furious.

TAMS is proud to invite eligible community members to participate in a The University of Melbourne research project led by Master of Genomics and Health student Jackson Rees, with assistance from TAMS.

The project explores patient experiences of MCAD diagnosis and genetic testing, including KIT D816V and TPSAB1 testing, access to testing, how clearly results were explained and their role in clinical discussions.

⭐️ Community Recognition | Ange McArthur ⭐️

It was a pleasure to deliver a Community Recognition Statement celebrating the incredible Ange McArthur and her nomination as the 2026 Local Woman of the Year. 💜

Ange's tireless advocacy for people living with a disability is making a real difference, helping more than 100 NDIS participants while creating employment opportunities that value lived experience.

Thank you, Ange, for everything you do to build a more inclusive and compassionate community. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition! 👏

I'm not sure if this applies to every SC/PRC out there, but I know I've had a few scenarios where a really sh*tty outcome has left me as the bad guy, and here's a gentle reminder that it's not cool, and that's not what we're here for.
This was the year I decided I don't tolerate it, and I encourage others to as well. We can only do what we can do 🧡
If you genuinely have a terrible SC/PRC, that's a whole other kettle of fish and I think we know how I feel about that 😅

I keep getting asked if I'd run another PMDD workshop and so I finally listened because my PMDD has been PMDD'ing 🔥

The good part of that is that I've now had more personal experiences of treatment options over the past two months to add to the lived experience side of things, I suppose 😅

This workshop will be live online and also recorded and sent out for people want can't attend live or prefer to watch it at 2x speed, or whatever your preference is.

This is an interesting format I suppose because it's targeted at both clinicians and people who are PMDD curious/experiencers. I think I'm pretty good at speaking to both audiences at once and I really like to just treat people like the experts in their own lives anyway so it fits my vibe.
