Ardrossan Road Upgrade – Stabilisation Works Program 2026-27
Jakelco Contracting, on behalf of Yorke Peninsula Council, would like to advise that road stabilisation works will be undertaken on Ardrossan Road between Upper Yorke Road and Thomas Road.

The works will involve full-width road stabilisation to improve the safety and durability of this section of Ardrossan Road.

Construction is expected to commence in early September 2026 and be completed in mid October 2026, weather permitting. Temporary full road closures will be required during construction. A signed detour will be in place to safely guide motorists around the work area. Please refer to the image below for the proposed detour plan.

We acknowledge that these works may cause some inconvenience and appreciate your patience and cooperation during construction. Every effort will be made to minimise disruption and complete the works as safely and efficiently as possible.

For enquiries regarding:
*construction staging and program;
*access arrangements during road closures; or
*general construction activities,
please contact our Project Manager, Alan Fu, on 0451 129 852.

For all other enquiries, please contact Yorke Peninsula Council on (08) 8832 0000.

Jakelco Contracting is committed to working closely with residents and the local community to ensure the safe and successful delivery of these works.
