❓Are you aware of your responsibilities when undertaking a pile burn on your property?

🚨Over the past few days brigades within the Far South Coast District have attended a number of escaped pile burns. A fire is not out once you cannot see flame.
Residual heat will remain for a number of days or weeks in the ember bed, which can escape when you are least expecting it.

🔥The NSW RFS provides a Pile Burning Standards guide which will take you through your requirements.

💸If you fail to report a fire or it leaves your property you can be fined.

Please be gentle with him he's a nice guy!!

Thank you all for watching this space, taking a further step to becoming informed and allowing me to showcase some amazing Fire Danger Rating sign photos.

Well it finally happened.
Majors Creek are the proud custodians of a brand new Cat 1 fire truck.
It's big and it's shiny and will enhance our collective fire fighting capabilities.
Give us a wave if you see us driving around 👍.
