This National Volunteer Week, Maleny State Emergency Service recognises the dedication of our volunteers - the local men and women who give their time, skills and energy to keep our community safe.

From storm and flood response to road crash rescue, land search and vertical rescue, our members stand ready around the clock, in every condition.

To our volunteers: thank you for your service to the Maleny community and the wider Sunshine Coast hinterland.

Today, members of the NCR SES Pride Network raised the SES Pride flag in support of International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) alongside the State Emergency Service and the Maleny IDAHOBIT community.
