A court has found that a South Australian pastoralist was responsible for setting fire to a pile of vegetation that was left smouldering and reignited six months later.
The South Australian Court of Appeal upheld an earlier ruling that the late Tom Brinkworth was negligent in starting the blaze that caused tens of millions of dollars in damage to his neighbours' properties in 2021.
