Never did I think that my first little idea of growing flowers — like, literally putting plants into dirt so I could harvest stems for the local community — would turn into something I’d love this much. 🌸
Somewhere along the way, it became so much more than just growing flowers.
It became this really special, wholesome kind of art. Learning each plant (I was so worried I didn't know how to pronounce most of their names), watching each stage of growth, noticing change, waiting months for a bloom and then getting to choose when to harvest.
And maybe one of my favourite parts — teaching our kids to care for them, love them and appreciate just how much goes into growing them. 🌱🤍
I thought I was going to grow flowers.
Turns out, I absolutely fell in love with everything that comes with it. 🌸
