Congratulations to our clients who attended the Live Lighter Aged Care Games on Saturday the 30th of April. This event was run at the Bunbury South West Sports Centre. These games are designed to offer Seniors in care and in their own homes, an opportunity to experience being part of a team and enjoying social interactions with others, along with an element of competition. Our team brought home a medal for their fabulous participation. Alot of fun and laughs were had. ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ๐Ÿ†

Manjimup Home & Community Care is hosting weekly information sessions for our consumers every Tuesday in October.

๐Ÿ•ฅ Times: 10:30am โ€“ 11:30am & 1:30pm โ€“ 2:30pm
๐Ÿ“… Dates: 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th October 2025

These sessions will help consumers and carers understand the new Federal Government Support at Home program, which replaces the Home Care Package program from 1 November 2025.

All current Home Care Package holders are encouraged to attend to learn how these changes may affect them.

At its Ordinary Council Meeting held 22 July 2025, Council resolved to defer the introduction of new fees and charges for the Federal Government Support at Home program.

This decision follows the announcement of a revised start date of 1 November 2025 for the commencement of the program.

The fees and charges for the current Home Care Package program, as adopted in the 2024/25 financial year, will remain in effect until the commencement of the new Support at Home program.

Manjimup Home and Community Care will be running information sessions for our consumers each Tuesday, starting today 3 June 2025. Sessions will be held from 10.30am to 11.30am and 1.30pm to 2.30pm.

Our aim is to support our consumers to understand the new Federal Government changes that will be applied to all Service Providers as of 1 July 2025 and what it will mean for our current Home Care Package clients transitioning to Support At Home.
