The PFP wrapped up the Middle Management Leadership Program in Palau today, with the President of Palau awarding certificates from the Australian Institute of Police Management Pacific Faculty to 21 frontline police leaders from Palau, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, CNMI, and Guam.

The program was proudly supported by the Palau Minister of Justice and the Australian Ambassador to Palau, highlighting the strong partnerships that underpin policing development across the region.

Over the course of the program, participants explored practical leadership strategies, decision making, and the importance of leading with integrity and purpose. It was inspiring to see the level of engagement, collaboration, and willingness to challenge thinking in the room.

A highlight was the strong sense of connection built across jurisdictions, creating a network that will continue to support each other well beyond the program. This training plays an important role in strengthening law enforcement capability across the Pacific.

The Pacific Executive Leadership Program (PELP) was grateful to be part of the ANZPAA Police Conference 2025 (PC25) this week, joining policing leaders and partners from across the region.

PC25 provided a fantastic opportunity for our cohort to connect, learn and explore the future of policing alongside representatives from across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. The insights shared over the two days highlighted the importance of strong leadership, collaboration and embracing innovation to keep our communities safe.

The Vanuatu Executive Leadership Program is helping strengthen the leadership capabilities of senior police across Vanuatu. This program is part of a broader Pacific leadership initiative, developed in partnership with the Vanuatu Police Force, and supported by the Australian Federal Police and the Australian Institute of Police Management through the Pacific Faculty of Policing.
