There’s plenty happening across Mansfield Shire, with exciting events, local stories and opportunities to get involved.

The Melbourne Cup Tour is coming to the High Country this August, while a new youth program will continue the legacy of local snowboarding legend Chumpy Pullin. We’re also looking forward to celebrating Aboriginal culture and community connection this NAIDOC Week and inviting local groups to apply for Social Inclusion Action Group (SIAG) funding.

The condition of regional roads is a real concern for our community. The RACV My Country Road Survey is now open, giving Victorians the chance to share their firsthand experiences of regional roads and highways.

Your feedback will help RACV better understand which roads are causing the greatest safety concerns and strengthen advocacy for safer road design and much‑needed investment in improvements.

If you’ve got thoughts (or frustrations!) about the state of our roads, this is a constructive way to make your voice count.

🐾Meet Pomalo 🐾

Pomalo is a 5-year-old Rottweiler in need of a new home. She’s a friendly and affectionate dog who enjoys being around people and will make a loyal companion.

This lovely lady is seeking a fresh start in a home that can offer her time, space and companionship. She is up to date with her vaccinations and has already been desexed, with a health check to be completed prior to adoption.

Pomalo’s adoption fee is expected to be around $120, which covers her health check and microchip transfer.

If you’re looking for a devoted companion and think Pomalo might be a good fit for your home, we’d love to hear from you. Please contact our local laws team on 5775 8596 for more information or to arrange a meeting.
