Over time, I’ve noticed the same pattern. A problem pops up, there’s a big reaction, and then the fixes swing things so far one way that new issues show up. Then more changes. and back the other way. Meanwhile, the people actually living with all this, people with disability, families, support workers, are the ones having to carry and adjust. In my view, the ones who make it through aren’t always the biggest or the loudest. They’re the ones who can adapt, stay focused, and keep showing up for people, even while the pendulum keeps swinging. Whether you agree or disagree with the latest NDIS changes, resilience is the daily reality. And I’d love to see the system move beyond just reacting and start being really steady and people centred.

🏕️ Not every lesson happens in a clinic…

Today we’re getting the camping gear ready because a couple of our young roosters are heading off for an overnighter at Southern Star BIG4 in Dunsborough. 🔥⛺️

And yes… there’ll definitely be some very questionable tall tales around the campfire. 😂
I never let the truth get in the way of a good story

There’ll be cooking.

There’ll probably be a few arguments about who gets the best spot.

But underneath all of that is something much more important.

Today we’re celebrating more than just a birthday.

Over the past couple of months, we’ve had the privilege of watching Keely continue to grow through our Employment Pathways and Skills Development program.

Every challenge faced, and every step towards greater independence is something worth celebrating.

Growth isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s found in the small moments , the confidence to try something new, the courage to keep going, and the determination to believe in yourself.

Keely, we’re incredibly proud of how far you’ve come and excited to see where your journey takes you next.

I love days like today.

I’m in Bunbury having conversations with some incredible people who genuinely care about helping people find their purpose.

There’s nothing official to share just yet, but it’s exciting to explore what’s possible when good people come together with a shared vision.
