I haven't posted in a while as times have been crazy busy but today being a special day, I thought a post needed to happen. HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY TO GLADIATOR FIRE SERVICES. Hard to believe this all began a year ago today. Time flies when you're having fun. Back when I started in the Fire Industry in 2015, I certainly didn't think 7 years later I would have my own Fire Company. Going from a stay at home Mum of 5 years to having no clue what I wanted to do to get back into the workforce, decided to do something different and get into the Fire and Safety Industry. Not even being able to drive a manual, to getting a job that only had manuals. A weeks worth of driving lessons and I was on my own. Being somewhat scared of a drill to using one everyday. Being nervous to meet new people to meeting someone new everyday. Now 7 years later, running a Fire Company and absolutely loving every minute of it. Its given me so many opportunities and flexibility as a mother and wife. Still have to pinch myself sometimes cause it feels like a dream. It's certainly had it challenges over the past year, the biggest being going into business during a pandemic and I'm constantly learning new things and going down paths I never thought I would. Just want to thank everyone for their support and a big thanks to my beautiful family for never doubting me and being there every step of the way. I couldn't have done it without you all. We will certainly be enjoying a few celebratory drinks tonight so cheers!!!!
